Indah Emilia Wijayanti
Indah Emilia Wijayanti, an associate professor of mathematics at Gadjah Mada University, conducted research at the Center of Ring Theory and Its Applications, Department of Mathematics, Ohio University, in Athens, Ohio, on “the relationship of rings and modules from the perspective of lattice and radical theory.” She is a passionate advocate for research in mathematics, as it is essential to so many other applied fields, such as physics, engineering, statistics, and computer science. She has a lot of collaborative research projects on her long CV, including with scholars in Germany, France, and South Africa. She earned her BS and MS in mathematics at Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, and her PhD in mathematics with a dissertation on co-prime modules (2006) at Heinrich Heine University, in Duesseldorf, Germany.
Tjokorda Gde Tirta Nindhia
Dr. Tjokorda Gde Tirta Nindhia, a lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, Denpasar, did a three-month research project on developing an electrical engine type utilizing biogas as fuel at the Anaerobic Digestion Research and Education Center (ADREC), Department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering, Michigan State University. He previously has done research in Japan, Austria, and the Czech Republic on bioengineering topics.
Dr. Nidhia holds a BA from Udayana University, Denpasar, an MSc in mechanical engineering from Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, an MSc in production systems engineering from Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan, and a PhD from Gadjah Mada University.
